Come join the DMVA team, apply today!   DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of a Food Service Worker 1 at the Southeastern Veterans Center, you will be responsible for preparing meals and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and serving areas. Your tasks will involve sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other items, as well as portioning food, serving meals, and operating various kitchen tools like mixers, dicers, slicers, knives, and grinders.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Part-time: 8.0 hours/day; 40 hours/biweekly 2nd shift: (11:30 AM - 8:00 PM) Rotating days and weekends, 30-minute lunch period Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Previous food service worker experience preferred. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination, and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
