Description:

• Provide dental care for patients in low-income areas utilizing instruments, mouth mirror, x-ray, explores and other diagnostics.

• Repair cavities

• Extract impacted and infected teeth

• Ask as a dental hygienist as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written

• DMD or DDS from an approved dental school

• NY State Dentist license

• BLS/CPR Certified

The client provides the highest quality of comprehensive primary, preventative and behavioral health services to all who see it, regardless of insurance status and ability to pay, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. They are a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in New York.

Work Environment

They will not do implants and will mostly see patents 10 and over as they can send patents to other places. Community Health Center - Patients that are coming in may have scheduled appointments or may be walking in to receive care.
