Regional Supply Chain Manager, North America - Flavors

As a Regional Supply Chain Manager, North America – Flavors, you are accountable for managing plant allocation of our Flavors product portfolio in the North America region, manage production transfer, supply chain projects, new product introduction flow (NPI), new ingredient introduction (NII) and lead SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning). Balancing capacity in the manufacturing network in North America, managing and resolving supply challenges with optimum cost and minimum service disturbance to optimize service towards customers and affiliates. You will report to the VP Global Operational Excellence – Flavors.

Your Role:

• Manage, control and optimize the regional manufacturing supply network. Manage the relationship with the commercial team and customers to make sure all targets are met in supports of supply chain projects

• Manage, control and approve NPI processes in the region, manage the introduction of new own produced ingredients (NII) including strategic pricing decisions and lead and manage the SIOP process

• Propose, lead, manage and execute production transfers within the region and cross regions on request of customers or to balance the capacity over the factories. Determine capacity utilization for the region and report through the SIOP process monthly – include the impact of production transfer mentioned above

• Day to day trouble shooting supply chain issues from customer requests for safety stock agreements, material shortages, allocations of materials or resolve issues because of major incidents such as strikes, import bans, or plant shut down

• Relationship building with our commercial team for production transfers and SIOP, the category teams for new market trends and promotions, with Creation and Design team for NPI and NNI projects and to get their support for issues resolution. Build relations ships with Operations from other regions for production transfers

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain, leveraging data analytics and performance metrics to drive operational efficiencies. Track progress in the region of the success of the Sales and Operations Alignment Program, report quarterly to senior management the statistics and seek for improvement options

Job Requirements

What you Bring to IFF:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

• Min 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management in food and beverages ingredients industries or related sectors.

• Strong strategic planning and analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
