Insurance Customer Representative

Introduction

Our leading property and casualty insurance provider is seeking customer service professionals to join their call center for an upcoming contract. This position is a fantastic resume builder with generous benefits and a foothold in a booming industry.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of call center experience

    • Strong understanding of customer service fundamentals

    • Some experience with insurance desirable but not necessary

    • Ability to handle multiple priorities within strict time constraints.

    • Ability to collaborate easily with coworkers and customers

    • Possesses the ability to work independently and in a team environment to complete assignments in a timely manner

    • Excellent data entry skills.

    • Familiarity with MS Office systems

    • Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8am and 6pm EST M-F based on business need

What's the Day-To-Day?

  • Maintain excellent customer service to all internal/external business partners

  • Maintain high levels of professionalism

    • Demonstrate ownership and timeliness in handling inquiries and policy change requests

    • Responsible for the issuance of personal insurance new business endorsements and renewal policies

    • Maintain basic knowledge of PC Property and Casualty principals and company products

  • Ability to multitask and navigate company software to effectively resolve customer issues

  • Keep up with daily pace and maintain productivity

Hours and Days

This position will be on-site for training, followed by a 3 days in-office, 2 days at home hybrid schedule. Successful candidates must be able to work any shift between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday (EST).
