Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Boomi B2B Developer to spearhead the creation and deployment of robust integration solutions using the Boomi platform. This role is pivotal in shaping our B2B integration strategy and migration to the Boomi platform. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in each phase of the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to execution and ongoing support. With our organization poised to transition to the Boomi Platform, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our integration ecosystem from the ground up.

This position is required to report into the SHI Somerset, NJ or Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

• Design, and develop end-to-end B2B/EDI integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain a Boomi B2B/EDI integration strategy, including the adoption of best practices and the assessment of new Boomi features and capabilities.

• Serve as the technical expert in Boomi technologies, providing guidance and mentorship to team members as we migrate to Boomi platform.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and practices in integration solutions.

• Manage the full lifecycle of integration development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Improve existing integration processes, reducing complexity and optimizing performance.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration architectures, designs, and processes.

• Provide hands-on development support and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Monitor and manage the health and usage of the Boomi environment, optimizing resources and scaling as necessary.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between various business systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Certified Boomi Professional with extensive experience in developing B2B solutions using the Boomi AtomSphere platform

• Proficient in various integration patterns, web services (REST/SOAP), and common data formats (EDI, XML, JSON).

• Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and databases

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills

• Demonstrates excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills

• Track record as a hands-on engineer designing and delivering solutions to meet complex design and architectural challenges in a cloud services environment

• Deep practical experience operating high-scale services in production environments. Experience and opinions on what great observability looks like, what safe deployments look like and whether to push code on Fridays

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other Integration or middleware platforms (MS BizTalk/Azure)

• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

• Knowledge of securing RESTful APIs (OAuth 2.0, etc)

Unique Requirements

• Position requires up to 10% of travel as determined by SHI Management

Additional Information

• The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
