SHI Jr. Product Owner - Internship in Somerset, New Jersey
Job Summary
The Junior Product Owner Intern willassistwith the analysis, design, implementation, and support of D365 CRM/Power Platform solutions within the Business Systems Practice. The intern will work closely with the functional team to help prioritize the product backlog for development and refine user stories. This role involves supporting the product strategy to align with business goals and learning about the Agile Scrum process. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements andfacilitatecommunication between teams, gaining valuable experience in product management.
This position isrequiredto report to the Austin, TX office location asdeterminedby SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
Assistin defining goals and contributing to the vision for business systems solutions.
Support communication efforts with stakeholders, including business stakeholders, IT leadership, and the development team.
Help create and prioritize a list of backlog items based on overall strategy and businessobjectives.
Assistin creating process flow diagrams.
Learn to weigh priorities according to the needs andobjectivesof stakeholders.
Collaborate daily with scrum teams to help refine, groom, and review stories and bugs for implementation.
Observe and learn about the development process of the solution(s).
Assistinidentifyingstakeholder needs.
Support the arrangement and prioritization of sprints.
Qualifications
- Currentlyenrolled as a senior in good academic standing working towards a bachelor’s degreein business or an IT related field.
Required Skills
Demonstrates a strong curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to learn how to make decisions using a variety of information sources, including data and qualitative inputs.
Highly motivated and eager to take initiative in tasks and activities, working towards their completion with guidance.

Excellent critical thinking skills.
Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
Attention to detail
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Understanding of Agile practices including Scrum is a plus
Unique Requirements
- The intern selected will berequiredto work 29 hoursa week over a specified 12-week duration.
Additional Information
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00/Hr.
