Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Director, New Products & Commercial Development in Sleepy Hollow, New York

This is a hybrid role on-site 3+ days per week, and 2 days from home. This role is based in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Basking Ridge, NJ is not an option for this role.

Remote work is not possible for this role.

The Senior Director will be a member of Regeneron’s New Products and Commercial Development Team that leads the Commercial cross-functional team perspective into the pipeline for assigned assets in Regeneron’s new products portfolio. We are seeking someone who will provide strategic leadership and cross-functional direction to effectively drive pipeline commercialization activities for programs nearing First in Human through to Filing decision points. Leading the commercial development and execution of strategy for assets that will support launch readiness by developing global launch plans, long-term disease strategy and revenue forecasts.

In a typical day, you will:

  • Serve as leader of the Commercial subteam team, as well as represent the crossfunctional commercial perspective on the Strategic Program Development Teams

  • Provide commercial direction and decision making to optimize success at launch across all stages of development; including robust and relevant target product profiles, forecasting, input into optimal Phase II/III/IV design, life-cycle management, pediatric development and scientific / promotional communications, INN/USAN naming protocols and optimizing dosing and delivery strategy.

  • Facilitate and collaborate with Market Access and HEOR to develop differentiated strategies and compelling value propositions to secure market access. Ensure an early market access strategy that spans all product indications, markets and audiences is agreed upon and incorporated into clinical development plan.

  • Develop and lead annual budgets, long range plans and resolving best allocation of global resources for the brand/indication

  • Drives relationship with regional Commercial Business Unit Management, legal, regulatory, medical and market research to ensure understanding, alignment and implementation of strategy.

  • Represent new products commercial perspective to senior management and other internal/external partners

  • Adept in just in time commercial assessments for evaluating new internal and external opportunities

To be considered, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required with preference for advanced degree in a Scientific field.

  • Previous experience with partnerships with both R&D and Commercial.

  • Minimum of 15+ years of biopharmaceutical sponsor-side in-house experience.

  • Previous experience supporting New Products or Commercial Development.

  • Experience with New Products commercial assessments and/or pre-approval planning/launching is required

  • Experience in Pricing and Market Access considerations a plus.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to connect with senior leadership both internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and work effectively in sophisticated, constantly evolving environments.

  • Strong project and process leadership skills. Consulting experience a plus.

  • Ability to lead strategically, navigate ambiguity, build alignment, advise, negotiate, and collaborate

  • Ability to work well with, influence and provide direction to multiple functions as part of the disease team

  • Have a strong understanding of in market commercial needs and inputs required for commercial success downstream in the development cycle

  • Strong organizational and strategic skills including the ability to tell a communicate succinctly and effectively with senior leaders

Salary Range (annually)

$212,900.00 - $354,800.00
