Schedule: Monday- Saturday

  • 2nd shift: 3:45pm -- 1:30am + $1.25 shift differential

Shift Perks:

  • Increased pay, our shifts will increase take home pay as you'll earn OT every pay period
  • This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as needed.

What you'll do:

As a Sort Line Operator, you are responsible for manually sorting recycled plastics to ensure that the correct material is sent to the grinders for processing.  The Sort Line Operator is the first step in the quality assurance process of the plastic reprocessing operation.  Sort Line Operators receive direction throughout their work shift from the Grind Line Supervisor.

Every day, you can expect to:

  • Manually remove material that should not enter the grinders and next step of the recycling process
  • Maintain and build job skills through company training programs and understand and practice ADS Core Values
  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, or injuries to the Plant Manager.
  • Assist with Preventative Maintenance program as required
  • Practice proper forklift operation and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain facility housekeeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned

To thrive in this role, you must:

  • Practice continuous improvement
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to stand and be mobile throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Occasionally lift to 75 lbs.
