DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Applications Developer 1, you will perform application, database development, and maintenance while ensuring coding is consistent with the system requirements and design as well as applies and conforms to application procedures and standards. Work includes analyzing, planning, designing, developing, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting all agency applications. You will have the opportunity to meet with users or business analysts to determine existing business processes, problems, objectives, and requirements in order to design or modify a system solution that will meet user needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 18 month, Limited Term Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Shippensburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Computer Programmer 2; or Three years of information technology experience that includes one year of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements: This particular position also requires six months or more of full-time experience using Single-Page Application (SPA) Frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue, and Ember).
