Duties may include: Operate machinery and equipment to fertilize, cultivate, and spray green houses, crops, and plants such as flowers, trees/shrubs, annuals, perennials, hay, pumpkins, and corn. Inspect plants and bud counts to assess quality. Spray plants and flowers with prescribed herbicides, fungicides, or pesticides to control disease and insects. Tend to livestock (goats): guarding from predatory animals and from poisonous plants, feeding, and maintaining farmlands and fields & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45- 2092 (onetonline.org). Goats are roaming/grazing the farmlands and fields during the dates of need. During the off season, animals will not require guarding/tending to as they are not in the farmlands or fields.
