For more information, visit amwater.com and join American Water on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. _ Primary Role_ * Responsible for providing Analyst support and administrative assistance to the state supervisors and managers in the Customer Relationship Services of the business; provide support for short-term and long-term projects related to the business. * Coordinates the state’s special billings, payment and collections related processes and initiatives. * Works on special revenue enhancement projects, such as inactive with consumption, length of service, estimates and zero consumption. _ Key Accountabilities_ * Responsible for handling reporting, database maintenance and functions within the operations areas of the business with minimal oversight and instruction. * Researches and abstracts information and supporting data in preparation for meetings, projects, and reports (including data compilation, research). * Responsible for maintaining state reports specific to payments, billing and collection processes. This may include monitoring billing, collections and payment related activities, reports, and spreadsheets. Assists in the preparation of projects. * Assesses and assists in meeting Collections, Billing, Payments and Service Deliver Performance targets. * Composes correspondence and handles telephone requests. * Works with Network Operations, Production, Customer Relationship Services Management, Customer Service Center and the Shared Services Center to resolve issues impacting the state’s ability to provide superior service.
