FieldCore, part of GE Vernova is looking for a Project Logistics Coordinator to join our North American Operations team based in Schenectady, New York.

GE Vernova’s Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future. As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

Let’s talk about the role

The Project Logistics Coordinator III will be the key logistical lead for domestic and global facilities, shipments, and training events. The Project Coordinator III will provide direction to facility personnel, coordinate logistics, use analytical and decision-making skills to fulfill resource requirements, oversee and maintain all necessary inventories, and implement and reconcile financial processes for the facility.

How you will make the difference:

  • Maintain and purchase all necessary materials and supplies through iProcurement to support facility operations and equipment

  • Verify, manage, and approve all vendor invoices

  • Reconcile and manage all financial cost transfers for every facility user

  • Maintain and reconcile all BTA account cost submissions by working with the finance team to ensure prompt payments

  • Manage support requests

  • Prepare tooling inventories

  • Coordinate international shipments of bulk equipment and materials as needed

  • Work with Service Managers to meet expectations on job assignments, training, PPE and other tasks as needed

  • Work with the Immigration team to ensure appropriate international travel documents such as passports and Visas are obtained as needed

  • Support other functions as needed and review and approve timesheets and expenses if needed

  • Drive sourcing to work with local, approved businesses to reduce cost and maximize flexibility during high facility utilization

  • Coordinate logistics for personnel attending training or business requirements at the facility, including hotel and car reservations and meals

  • Create and maintain logistics tracking spreadsheets

  • Create POs and deliver POs, invoices and cost estimates to vendors and customers

  • Prepare reports for managers

Skills for success :

You will have a minimum of five years’ operations, project management, or product management experience including quality, technical, administrative, financial and contractual as well as:

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to travel including internationally

  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

The annual salary range for this position is $44,200 to $66,400. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
