Certifications/Qualifications:

Current clerk or on Civil Service eligible list preferred

• Selected candidate must be in title or on the approved Clerk Civil Service list; if not, the candidate will be appointed provisionally and be required to take the exam once announced and score in the top three

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other clerical software

• Ability to work in a fast-paced office and maintain confidentiality

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to get along well with others

• Clerical aptitude, mental alertness, neatness, accuracy, tact and courtesy

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions

• Able to collaborate, prioritize and meet deadlines

• Have a positive attitude, team player, friendly and customer service oriented

• Must enjoy working with children

• Duties may include attendance

• 10-month position

• Salary per the CSEA contract
