Job Title: Chemical Engineering Manager

Hours/Schedule: M-F 8AM – 5PM

Overview:

Looking to Join a dynamic, innovative company excelling in distillation processes? Our established client in the distribution of equipment and services for refrigeration is looking for a Chemical Engineering Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize distillation processes to enhance efficiency, throughput, and product quality.

• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce energy use, waste, and environmental impact.

• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and reclaim teams to improve processes and solve issues.

• Provide technical support to ensure safe and efficient operation of distillation equipment.

• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to resolve operational issues and maintain material balances.

• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials for distillation processes.

• Participate in process hazard analyses (PHA) and management of change (MOC) for safety compliance.

• Review and develop process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).

• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in distillation.

• Support new product development with expertise in distillation processes.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience. Master's degree with 5 years of experience preferred.

• Minimum 3 years in process/production engineering focused on distillation.

• Knowledge of process simulation software, lean, and Six Sigma is desirable.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex process issues.

• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
