Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Pay: $30-$38/hr (depending on experience)

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and electronic equipment within the facility. Key responsibilities include working with VFD’s, PLC’s, and process instrumentation, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment meet safety standards, and quickly addressing any hazards. You will develop and execute preventive maintenance tasks for the plant's electrical systems, maintain a detailed matrix of all equipment and power sources, and ensure each device is properly labeled at the point of use and source. Additionally, you will respond promptly to electrical issues, focusing on safety, professionalism, and minimizing downtime. You will also recommend energy-saving actions to management to help reduce overall electrical energy consumption and complete assigned Work Orders, documenting all tasks accordingly.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. You will be part of a team comprising 8 Mechanics, with the Mechanic Supervisor being the only other electrician.
