Robert Half Part Time Receptionist in Rochester, New York

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in ROCHESTER, New York. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative, data management, and customer service support in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of client reception, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

• Handle all administrative tasks as required in the department.

• Manage data with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Perform fee collection duties in a timely and accurate manner.

• Deliver high-quality customer service, resolving inquiries and issues promptly.

• Fulfill receptionist duties such as managing phone lines and directing calls to the appropriate departments.

• Ensure fidelity and accountability to the agency's mission, vision, values, guiding principles, and strategic plan.

• Commit to the Sanctuary Model of Care in all aspects of the role.

• Monitor and carry out all job responsibilities in compliance with agency policies and procedures.

• Participate in maintaining a welcoming and professional reception area. Requirements • Proficient in handling receptionist duties such as answering phone lines, managing appointments, and greeting visitors.

• Experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry is beneficial.

• Ability to work part-time hours, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

• Familiarity with basic office equipment and systems, including computers and phone systems.

• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in office management is a plus.
