Job Title: Lead Sheet Metal EstimatorLocation: Rochester, New YorkPosition Type: Full-timeResponsibilities:•Develop and maintain project bid schedule.•Obtain bid documents from customers or other sources.•Perform takeoffs from mechanical drawings and specifications.•Prepare detailed estimates for sheet metal fabrication projects.•Review estimates generated by other team members for accuracy and completeness.•Maintain customer relations, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service.•Keep estimating software programs up to date with the latest commodity pricing.•Generate duct fabrication submittals.Qualifications:•Minimum of 10 years of experience in sheet metal estimating.•Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and specifications.•Strong knowledge of HVAC and sheet metal systems.•Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.•Familiarity with Trimble Autobid SheetMetal estimating software.Compensation:•Annual Salary Range: 55,000-80,000 •Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing and PTO.
