Job Description
We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team for commercial renovation and new construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for bending pipes and installing conduits according to detailed plans and blueprints provided by the General Contractor. You will wire systems that control power, lighting, and heating units in buildings, as well as provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. This position requires proficiency in using power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders to ensure high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
Pipe Bending and Conduit Installation: Accurately bend pipes and install conduits based on detailed plans and blueprints.
System Wiring: Wire systems that control power, lighting, and heating units in commercial buildings.
HVAC Wiring: Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units to ensure efficient operation.
Tool Utilization: Skillfully use power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Essential Skills
Commercial Experience: Proven experience in bending conduit or pipe and running wire in commercial settings.
Safety Certification: Strong safety orientation with OSHA certification.
Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and other testing tools.
Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical diagrams.
Conduit and Wire Skills: High proficiency in bending conduit and pulling wire to meet project specifications.

Work Environment
You will work in 2-4 person crews on various projects, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment. Standard work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing you to have your evenings free. All work is local to Rochester, focusing on commercial new builds and renovations, so you can stay close to home while contributing to exciting projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
