Hillside Family of Agencies Clinical Manager - Day Treatment in Rochester, New York

We are offering a $4,000 Sign On Bonus for this position! Hillside is hiring for a School Based Clinical Manager at our Rochester NY Day Treatment program. The School Based Day Treatment Program is looking for a Clinical Manager to join the interdisciplinary leadership team in our Medicaid funded program with oversight by State Department of Education and Office of Mental Health. The Clinical Manager will provide leadership, supervision and guidance to the clinical team, including reviewing and approving service plans and progress notes to ensure high quality of care. The Clinical Manager will provide clinical supervision in the support of the licensure pathway, and provide oversight of the Evidenced Based Practices offered. The Day Treatment services youth ages ranging from 5-15, from multiple districts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a trauma informed and peaceful community for staff, youth, and families

• Facilitate decision making processes, including the involvement of stakeholders, when applicable, to develop and implement evidence-based programs that achieve clinical, organization, and funder objectives.

• Provide direct oversight of the clinical team as well as develop and implement systems of accountability for both teams and individuals.

• Coordinate youth, family, and systems information in collaboration with Service Integration.

• Work with Quality in reviewing audit reports to ensure clinical documentation is completed in an accurate and timely basis.

• Communicate consistently with funder(s) as required in an effort to maintain and leverage positive and effective relationships

• Keep up to date with effective treatment interventions.

• Ensure utilization of Evidence Based Practices where appropriate

• Recognize the need for and provides team mentoring and clinical guidance; clinical supervision and clinical consultation. Develop and provide expert training to staff as required. Collaborate with internal/external clinical leaders, is a member of the Day Treatment SALT and EBP Implementation Teams

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including education, nursing, psychiatric teams as well as districts in determining admission and treatment decisions.

$ 60,138.00 Minimum Rate per year, $100,230.00 Maximum Rate per year, based on experience.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health, or related field, required.

• At least one of the following licenses are required to meet program need: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed PHD Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist will be considered.

• NYS driver’s license with a clean driving record to meet agency standards is required.

• CPR certification is required or within 60 days of employment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role required, including family, community-based or residential work, or related setting and minimum of 3 years’ prior supervisory experience.
