Responsibilities

The Department of Pediatrics, and Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, is seeking a pediatric hepatologist for the provision of inpatient and outpatient in respective clinical settings. We are interested in candidates with Pediatric Hepatology expertise in areas of assessment and treatment of all pediatric hepatology disorders. Rotation of call responsibility within the division will also be required. The University of Rochester, Department of Pediatrics, is nationally/ internationally recognized for its contributions to community pediatrics, pediatric basic and clinical research with global implications for child health, and for its outstanding residency program.

Candidates must be BC/BE in pediatrics. Successful candidates will have shown outstanding clinical accomplishment and commitment to Pediatric Hepatology. Board Certified, NYS, license, DEA, fellowship trained Pediatric Hepatologist considered. Candidates must have considerable knowledge and experience in the area of Pediatric Hepatology. All areas of clinical hepatology are required.

Minimum Education Requirements: Medical Degree, completion of a pediatric hepatology fellowship.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $277,000 - $406,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
