Responsibilities

• Reading instructions: Following blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions

• Assembling parts: Using hand and power tools to attach and fasten parts together, including belts, chains, and gears

• Ensuring quality: Monitoring the quality of assembled parts and components, and notifying team members of any issues

• Maintaining a safe workplace: Complying with safety protocols and procedures, and keeping equipment operational by performing preventive maintenance and reporting malfunctions

• Providing training: When appropriate, training new employees on the job
