Description
Role Summary: Performs all duties necessary to successfully process patients and their orders though Outreach Laboratories collection facilities. Duties include:: Patient reception, patient registration, specimen collection, specimen accessioning, specimen processing and quality assurance activities.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Completion of certified phlebotomy or medical assistants programs
Required License: None
Required Experience: Minimum one-year previous experience in a hospital lab, clinic, or physician lab experience.
Medical billing and specimen processing knowledge helpful.
