SUMMARY: Performs nursing skills encompassing patient care and relative tasks under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse. Provides a safe, quiet, comfortable environment for patient, visitors, and employees. Demonstrates accountability for job responsibility and functions. Provides direct quality care and service to patients of all ages under the directions of the Unit Manager/designee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:High School graduate or equivalent.

Licensure/Registration/Certification:CNA preferred. BLS certification for health care provider within 3 months and recertification annually.

Work Experience: Recent experience as a nurse aide, phlebotomist, or EKG technician preferred.
