GE Aerospace Sr Finance Manager 3 - FP&A Operations in Remote, Pennsylvania

Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for the US GE Aerospace Research budget that contributes to the overall business strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs). Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads the FP&A work processes for the Niskayuna engineering site including income statement, cashflow and monthly/quarterly reporting. Develops financial strategy, drives execution and enables superior decision-making

  • Provide explanations on variances vs Bdgt/plan/forecast to HQ and internal customers

  • Support monthly closing activities in order to assure proper financial reporting

  • Responsible for managing the business cycle: budget, forecasts, plans Handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function and finance department. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders

  • Partners with operations to drive performance and simplification using the lean business system. Generates actionable insights through analysis of business metrics. Leads cross functional teams to improve outcomes in cost productivity & inventory turns

  • Support of Commercial finance team as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • 5+ years of relevant Finance experience

  • Must be willing to work onsite in Niskayuna, NY

The base pay range for this position is 110,000 - 183,000 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on August 17, 2024
