The Boeing Defense Senior Sales Manager – Key Accounts will be responsible for the Boeing Defense relationship, in addition to identifying and developing sales/growth opportunities.

In this role, you will create strategies, shape future opportunities, translate concepts, and drive change while supporting a partnership with Boeing Defense and GE Aerospace teams.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated military aviation experience and passion.

This role may be based at one of 3 main Boeing Defense locations:

St. Louis, MO

Philadelphia, PA

Mesa, AZ

Candidates must be willing to relocate or reside in one of these locations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the customer relationship from the C-suite down and facilitates senior GE leadership engagement to win business.

  • Possess a deep understanding of the customers’ vision(s), business model, regional market and competitors, as well as GE Aerospace’s business unit priorities and growth initiatives.

  • Lead strategic account planning which includes spirited growth objectives and clearly expressed value propositions, development jointly with the customer and GE Aerospace teams.

  • Build effective relationships across the GE aerospace P&L and Strategy & BD teams.

  • Effectively navigate across organization boundaries to optimize results.

  • Lead pre-positioning of key opportunities to influence airframer needs and drives pre-Intent to Order activities.

  • Proactively engage in all GE / Airframer business issues and help problem solve to help preserve strong relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in in Global and Key Accounts

  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Global and Key Accounts

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior military aviation experience desired.

  • Experience as a user, operator, or maintainer of military aviation platforms strongly preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
