Reference #: 2333 JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Material Handler/ Shipper Department: Warehouse/ Shipping Reports To: Warehouse Manager Summary The Material Handler/ Shipper is accountable for safety, 5S, shipping, receiving freight, locating freight, put-aways, picking orders, shipping & receiving, cycle counting, assembly, process improvement and team productivity. Primary Responsibilities and Duties * Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program. * Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program. * Follows all procedures & work instructions. * Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s) * Pick orders timely & correctly. * Ability to learn & navigate our inventory control system/ shipping system (UPS/ Fed-ex) * Assure timely flow of goods. * Ability to check-in & put away parts using tablets & scanners. * Prepare handling of goods * Material receipts * Ability to process shipments in a correct order. * Ability to pick & pack orders sturdy & presentable. * Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skill Requirements * HS Diploma or equivalent * Tow motor experience/pallet jack * Flexible with hours * Computer processing experience (UPS WorldShip, Fed-ex) * Warehouse experience using barcode scanners. * Must be able to work in the US. Competencies * Detail oriented * Communicates effectively. * Works well within a Team environment.
