Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join our team on the 1st shift, starting between 5am and 7am. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, foundry, or steel environments and will be responsible for operating machinery, reading blueprints, making offset adjustments, setting up and tearing down materials, and documenting daily activities. This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially in breakdown scenarios.

Hard Skills

• Reading and understanding blueprints

• Working with G & M codes

• Making offset adjustments

• Setting X and Y zero points

• Experience with Safety Start Up procedures

• Using 6” scales, calipers, and go-no/go gages

• Performing job duties successfully

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The role involves working in an open-air warehouse, which means exposure to seasonal weather conditions. The environment can be dirty and physical, requiring attention to safety. Steel toe shoes with metatarsal covers are mandatory, which will be provided.
