Job Description:

Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, MedTech Center Finance Business Partner located in Raritan, NJ.

This highly visible Senior Financial Analyst will provide key finance business partner support for our J&J MedTech Communications and Business Development senior leadership and their respective teams. This role is responsible for preparing and managing the annual budgets, conducting detailed financial and variance analyses, and collaborating with cross functional departmental teams to assess budget needs. This role will prepare financials, reporting and frame results to support our senior management in making the best-informed decisions. In addition, this role will help communicate insights effectively and identify financial process improvement opportunities that align with our J&J Finance SigniFi journey. This role allows for upward mobility across the enterprise following demonstration of strong performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with the cross MedTech Business Development and Communications Leadership Teams, the teams which are responsible for providing strategic support and capabilities in support to all of our MedTech businesses (Orthopaedics, Surgery, Electrophysiology, & Neurovascular, & total MedTech).

  • Support the strategic framing and influencing of commercial/admin funding through consolidations, robust planning and processes, and strong partnership to bring visibility to organizational risks and opportunities.

  • Lead planning, latest thinking and actual cycles. Be responsible for coordination, reporting and analytical support of actual vs. forecast for expense & headcount, and provide robust financial analysis and insights. Closely partner with MedTech CFO’s and other key finance partners, commercial FP&A leads, and CFM teams to ensure integrity of financial statements.

  • Proactively participate in the implementation of SigniFi as it relates to MedTech, specifically for the Business Development and Communications related areas.

  • Other ad-hoc MedTech OpEx and FP&A projects supporting evolving business strategies and continued process improvement

  • Design and create process improvements, tools and capabilities that drive increase accuracy, efficiency and transparency for business partners and our center MedTech Finance team.

  • Build and foster strong relationships across finance teams with competing priorities

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Accounting/Finance or another related field is required.

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications such as MBA/Master’s, CMA, CPA, etc. is preferred

  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressive finance, accounting or related business experience is required.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is required

  • The ability to collaborate, influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, is required

  • The ability to work through ambiguous situations and manage competing demands is required

  • The ability to operate with a high degree of independence and have the proven ability to plan, prioritize and collaborate in a highly matrixed environment is required

  • Experience with data process automation and/or visualization software is preferred (i.e., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, etc)

  • Knowledge and application of technical accounting and financial compliance is preferred.

  • This position will be located in Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$76,000 - $121,900

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
