Aero Tec Laboratories Cell Production Technician in Ramsey, New Jersey

Job Purpose:•Ensure the high-quality manufacture of all types of bladders;•Meeting daily targets to ensure due dates are accomplished;•Continually develop skills in bladder manufacturing to ensure consistent progressionLevel 1 Cell Production Technicians:•Help the Cell Production Manager by completing general duties and aiding lower band Technicians who may be struggling with their work;•Deliver the training program to new starters, on rotation with other Level 1 technicians;•Provide continual support and coaching to technicians at all other levels;•Attend management meetings where required;•Produce management reports as required;•Raise NCR’s and assist with containment and corrective action;•Complete quality control checks and spot checks on lower band technicians’ bladders;•Conduct practical assessments with applicants at Cell Production interviews;•Carry out continuous improvement tasks as required.Level 2 Cell Production Technicians:•Manufacturing of all types of bladders from all materials to the required quality with no assistance;•Display excellent time management skills by maintaining schedule throughout the production of complex bladders without any assistance;•Help the Cell Production Manager by completing general duties and occasionally aiding lower band Technicians who may be struggling with their work;•Carry-out servicing and recertification on all bladders without supervision.Level 3 Cell Production Technicians:•Manufacturing of most types of bladders from all materials to the required quality with minimal assistance;•Display good time management skills by maintaining schedule throughout the production of medium difficulty bladders with minimal assistance;•Be fully versed in most aspects of bladder manufacturing;•Be capable of producing an effective prototype bladder with supervision from the Prototype Supervisor; highlight any possible design flaws or flapping changes needed from the 3DVia/Card model, produce clear and accurate build manual photographs and foam notes for other Technicians and set the base time for production of the cell so that future scheduling can be done as accurately as possible;•Carry-out servicing and recertification on all bladders with minimal supervision.Level 4 Cell Production Technicians:•Manufacturing of some more complex bladders from standard materials to the required quality with minimal assistance;•Quality assurance of work to ensure that they produce a high-quality bladder without non-conformances.Level 5 Cell Production Technicians:•Having passed probation period: required to have learned the fundamentals of bladder manufacturing with continual improvement in finished quality of product;•Manufacturing of a less complex or standard bladder manufactured from standard materials to the required quality with some assistance;•Display good time management skills by maintaining schedule throughout the production of bladders with only some assistance;•Help the Cell Production Manager by completing general duties;•Liaise with the Level 1 Cell Production Technicians to gain on-the-job training in all manufacturing processes to continually improve skills and efficiency levels and to be able to progress to more difficult cells and levels;•Quality assurance of work to ensure high-quality bladder production; some non-conformances are to be expected but should be self-found and reported.
