We are looking for a team oriented, dependable Bookkeeper for our client in Rahway, NJ. This is an onsite position. We are ideally looking for someone with experience in the Industrial or Construction industries with experience in job costing, 3-way matching, and purchase orders. This role is heavier on the Accounts Payable side.

• Full-Cycle AP

• 3-way matching

• Purchase orders

• Vendor oversight

• Cash Receipts

• Light AR responsibilities

  Requirements

• Manage daily financial transactions for construction projects

• Oversee job costing, billing, and project expenses

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports

• Process payroll and handle tax filings

• Track budgets and ensure projects stay within financial limits

• Maintain accurate records of all financial activities

• Work closely with project managers to ensure financial accuracy

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage

• Ensure compliance with construction-related tax laws and regulations
