PDS Tech has an amazing opportunity and is seeking a talented and experienced Sr General Mechanic that has New Jersey Black Seal Low-Pressure License in Prenceton, NJ.

This is a Contract position.

• Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Onsite

• Pay Rate: $30.00 an hr

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Perform a variety of skilled work in several trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical, painting, and HVAC.

• Conduct scheduled facility preventative maintenance tasks, unscheduled and scheduled repairs, and project support. Maintain records and logs of system checks for compliance purposes.

• Diagnose and correct system malfunctions.

• Assist with building automation and building access control (security) systems.

Qualifications/Must Have:

• Five (5) to seven (7) years plus of experience as maintenance mechanic and/or three (3) years construction experience.

• Must have New Jersey Black Seal Low-Pressure License and a valid driver's license.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building maintenance trades.

• Use interpersonal skills; collegial, energetic; able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Has earned a high school or trade school diploma or equivalent. Certification of trade expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC repairs, Building Automation Systems or Preventative Maintenance Programs, and/or completion of related Apprenticeship Program, is desired.

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
