Position: Professional Specialist Description: The Kunin Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University is currently seeking a Staff Scientist (to be appointed at the Associate or more senior Professional Specialist rank) to oversee a research laboratory that focuses on the field of ultrafast spectroscopy of materials. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field, preferably with over ten years of additional research experience in ultrafast spectroscopy. The responsibilities include the design and implementation of novel, homebuilt ultrafast laser technology, overseeing research projects in the area of time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy of materials, supervising student researchers, general management of the laboratory equipment and facilities, and overseeing the ordering of supplies and acquisition of new major equipment. In addition, candidates must be self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise others.
