As a member of the Sales Operations Department, the OTT Pricing Specialist will play a proactive role in supporting all members of the direct Sales Organization as well as independently contracted distributors as a means to maximize revenue recognition and sustain customer satisfaction. Primary focus of this role will include the execution of pricing related processes in order to mitigate business, financial and operational risks while insuring compliance with internal and external audit governing practices. This position will continually seek to identify potential opportunities to gain efficiencies and delivering added value to the business and its customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as subject matter experts for the pricing discount process.

  • Act as the primary administrator of the discount process, including securing authorization in accordance with the discounting grid, distribution, proper documentation and storing of Discounting Request Forms (DRFs) and CPQ Quotes in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Proactively work to decrease the value of unbilled revenue by assisting the Sales Organization in resolving pricing related issues including route cause analysis, solution development and execution at the account level.

  • Process credits/rebills as identified within the scope of Sales Operations responsibilities as needed by the business.

  • Generate price books on an annual and/or as needed basis.

  • Collaborate with the Sales organization to ensure that DRF’s and CPQ Quotes are revised and or renewed and updated in Oracle as needed prior to their expiration.

  • Identify continuous business improvements in the area of customer pricing while assisting in the implementation of potential solutions and or alternatives.

  • Provide tier 2 support for pricing related internal and external inquiries.

  • Primary conduit between Sales Operations and Corporate Pricing Team related to customer discounts.

  • Develop work instructions and SOP’s pertaining to OTT pricing and contracts administration.

  • Participate in projects as needed.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.

  • High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

  • 2-3 years of Sales Operations and or Customer Service experienced. Focus on pricing, contracts administration and or analytics highly desirable.

  • Previous experience in the Medical Device and or related industry.

  • General understanding of GPO’s and IDN’s desirable

  • ERP experience, Oracle highly desirable

  • Basic to intermediate excel skills

  • Customer focused

  • Flexible / Adaptable to the needs of the business

  • Consistently demonstrates sound judgment

  • Strong problem solving skills
