Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and components in commercial buildings. You will work closely with the facilities management team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems within JLL-managed properties.Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and wiring in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, inspecting and testing equipment to identify potential problems
Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and facilities management personnel to resolve electrical issues and complete projects
Conduct electrical repairs and upgrades as required, working with a wide range of electrical equipment, tools, and materials
Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and JLL policies
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical repairs, installations, and inspections
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in electrical technology to enhance knowledge and skillsRequirements:
Journeyman Electrician license/certification or equivalent relevant experience
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and diagnosing issues
Strong understanding of various electrical tools and equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work on-call and perform emergency repairs as needed
