The Role

The Clinical Strategy team is growing and have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to help us continue to make an impact in improving the lives of people with cancer. The Administrative Assistant will provide direct support and report to the VP, Multi-Compound Lead, VP, Head of Biostatisticians and VP, Head of Global Clinical Research Scientists with a wide range of administrative tasks.

This position will work closely with the entire leadership team, as well as other administrative assistants across the organization and other internal and external stakeholders to support a wide range of department activities.

We are looking for a person who is well-organized, energetic, flexible, and creative, and likes to ensure that the department runs smoothly.Someone who will take pride in contributing to our great working environment, as part of dynamic and high functioning teams.The ideal candidate will have worked in an administrative role previously, will be enthusiastic in supporting multiple people in a fast-paced environment.Genmab is a global company, so ideally, this candidate will enjoy working closely with different types of people, including different cultures.The person should have experience with all types of office tools and technologies, especially Microsoft Office 365, including OneNote, Word, Teams, Excel, and Power Point. It is helpful if the candidate has worked with software and tools such as Concur, SAP, and Workday.

Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the VPs and leadership team where appropriate
Manage calendars, arrange travel and accommodation, prepare, and manage expense reports, and support with other administrative tasks for the heads of the three functions.
Organize cross-department meetings, team meetings, and larger group meetings including off-sites and social events that need coordinated scheduling; arrange catering, rooms, location, calendar invites, etc.
Occasionallytake detailed minutes or action item lists.
Coordinate key conferences/congress registration and travel (hotel, flights, etc.).
Create and edit word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel worksheets as needed.
Support onboarding/offboarding activities within team
Ad-hoc projects as needed
Data entry and coordination as needed


Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is a plus
2-3 years of Administrative Assistant experience in the pharmaceutical (or related) industry
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills and comfort level interacting with various levels of management and communicating in a cross-disciplinary and international team
Ability to work with Microsoft Office365 tools and technologies
Ability to work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders


For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$60,000.00---$100,000.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
