Meals on Main Street Executive Director in Port Chester, New York

The executive director will be a strategic thinker and doer with the ability to develop compelling goals for MOMS future and create strong and sustainable programs, processes, and structures to achieve them. The ED will be the public representative of the organization, developing positive relationships with clients, funders, partners, media professionals, town officials, and other stakeholders as participants, supporters, and champions. Working in close partnership with the staff and board, the ED will develop sensible, efficient, sustainable operational and financial plans that will ensure that resources are deployed for maximum impact in Port Chester and the region.

QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a senior management position, preferably at a place-based nonprofit organization or other organization with significant logistical component A passion for fundraising from private and public sources, collaborating with an active and engaged board, and building donor relationships; demonstrated success in fundraising strongly preferred Demonstrated experience developing and executing a plan to take a function/department/organization from great to greater Experience managing budgets and developing new revenue streams Superior managerial and interpersonal skills, and experience leading a highly capable staff in ways that emphasize collaboration and teamwork. A track record of leading and inspiring results-oriented teams to meet specific organizational goals. Experience working with external partners, including nonprofits, local businesses, and donors Knowledge of or experience with the populations that MOMS serves is preferred but not required Spanish language skills preferred but not required
