Business Intelligence Developer II

Job Description:

Play a consultative role to business stakeholders, building solid relationships and serving as an integral partner by influencing teams through presentation of data-based insights and recommendations. Work collaboratively and proactively with teams to optimize analysis and insights while maintaining regular communication to update stakeholders on progress made on projects. Understand business segment drivers and trends, developing in-depth analyses and reporting that provide actionable business insights and drives strategy. Produce automated, clean, and accurate reporting that is repeatable. Build dashboards and data systems that make it easier for stakeholders throughout Accolade to assess progress toward key initiatives and business drivers. Multitask, measuring, analyzing, and communicating insights will be an iterative process. Work on applications and initiatives that are complete as well as under development. Utilize your quantitative analysis, data mining, data visualization and presentation of data skills to maximize Accolades customer satisfaction, business efficiency, and overall business opportunities. Communicate with senior business stakeholders, specifically presenting insights with brevity. Provides data expertise including quantitative analysis, data visualization and data mining to drive actionable insights to individual stakeholder groups. Telecommuting permitted within MSA. Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field plus 7 years of experience in job offered or a related occupation. This position requires 5 years of experience in each of the following:

(1)       Storytelling through data visualizations; (2)       Development in reporting tools such as Qlikview, QlikSense, or similar; (3)       SQL and scripting languages; (4)       Big Data Solutions including Hadoop; (5)       Working with cross-functional teams to determine data requirements; (6)       Writing technical documentation describing data attributes and rules; (7)       Using Agile methodologies; (8)       Data warehouse concepts including experience working with SQL Server and AWS Redshift.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, Employer will also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. This position requires 5 years of experience in each of the following:
