Apex Systems is working with a progressive, global leader in the coatings industry who is growing and planning for their future.We are looking for a Business Applications Analyst *and the ideal candidate will have experience in Dynamix D365. This position is located in the Greater Philadelphia area and requires you to be on-site Monday-Friday. *Business Applications Analyst Summary Job Description: The Business Applications Analyst performs duties related to the implementation, management, maintenance, enhancement, and support of critical software systems. The incumbent consults with stakeholders to gather and define requirements; configure and implement new systems and/or enhance existing systems; write and execute test plans; troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; deliver training and guidance to end users and system/service owners; develop and maintain system documentation. Essential Functions:

  • Identifies and scopes process improvement opportunities within D365 for all business processes including production, warehouse, logistics, customer service, and accounting.
  • Analyzes current business processes and makes recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
  • Supports and troubleshoots user issues within D365.
  • Analyzes business requirements and translates them into functional specifications.
  • Plans and implements supportive business solutions.
  • Proactively contributes to the continuous improvement of technology/business processes through identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Develops and maintains documentation and training materials for systems.
  • Improves training and operational procedures within business units to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Works with other members of the IT team to help evaluate business processes, trouble-shoot systems and incorporate solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT and/or Business Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a business systems analyst or similar role in the IT field.
  • Experience building process maps, gathering business requirements, and adhering to formal change management policies.
  • Excellent organizational and project management experience/skills.
  • Managing ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics D365.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and technical skills.
  • Strong business understanding of manufacturing systems and processes and supply chain and distribution.
  • Open to ideas and concepts presented by others.
  • Active listener who makes sure to understood direction and grasp new information.
  • Strong documentation skills.
