Why Join Our Team?

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a part time RN to work as a Nurse Case Manager - Worker’s Comp. The nurse case manager will actively manage Worker’s Compensation cases of Princeton HealthCare System employees injured on the job.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 12pm-4:30pm

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates return to work and modified duty of employees injured in the course of their employment with Human Resources representatives.

  • Closely monitors case management and investigates activities of worker’s compensation underwriter, and collaborates with on an as needed basis, to facilities earliest possible return to work of employees injured in the course o their employment.

  • Arranges appointments with Worker’s Compensation Participating Provider Network physicians and treatment providers, if possible, non-participating, if necessary, to facilitate recovery from injuries and to minimize the amount of lost days.

  • Documents health record on injured employees appropriately, accurately, and in a timely manner.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Related Work Experience

  • Greater than 15 months of professional nursing experience required.

  • 5+ years’ experience in occupational health preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

  • Active NJ RN license required.

  • Certification as a COHN or COHN-S preferred.

  • Certified Case Manager required.

  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse required.
