Novo Nordisk Inc. Data Scientist II - Advanced Analytics in Plainsboro, New Jersey

Data Scientist II - Advanced Analytics w/ Novo Nordisk Inc. in Plainsboro, NJ. Work across the CI&A organization, and with stakeholders across the NNI organization to implement advanced data and analytics solutions to critical business questions. Apply statistical and machine learning methods to deliver solutions leveraging internal and syndicated commercial datasets such as Xponent PlanTrak, LAAD, Experian, Veeva, ICM and others. Collaborate with Associate Director, Advanced Analytics to deliver Marketing Mix and related promotional analytics. Define advanced analytics/ML opportunities, determine appropriate datasets and algorithms, identify patterns, and formulate solutions, experiment, and deliver analytics and models. Collaborate with internal and/or external resources (i.e., consultants and partner) to define and deliver innovative data and analytics solutions and services response to business requirements and priorities. Provide analytical and presentation development support of the Marketing Mix process and related analytics (including but not limited to buy-ups, ROI of specific programs). Explore and evaluatee new data driven approaches to generating insights and solutions to address business issues. Work with other CI&A team members, IT, and data engineers to acquire and transform datasets (e.g., NPP, LAAD) that deliver critical business insights. Define and create metrics that can be leveraged by CI&A analysts to deliver insights to their stakeholders. Deliver presentations on results of Marketing Mix and related analysis to senior leadership across the organization.Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Data Science or a related field and minimum 3 years of experience in ROI analytics, business analysis, sales analysis, forecasting, quantitative finance, data science. Experience must include: Proficiency in two of the following tools: Python, R, SAS and Stata; Analyzing and managing large, structure datasets, including IQVIA datasets, to generate insights; Visualization tools, including Tableau or Qlick Sense and Advanced Excel and Powerpoint.
