    Position Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the Strategic Markets RFP and Contract Pricing Team with a focus on winning new business while maximizing profitability. The RFP & Contract Pricing Manager will be responsible for monitoring competitive behaviors, market dynamics and win/loss patterns to recommend pricing strategies that will help deliver profitable growth in Strategic Markets. The position will support ongoing administration of chargeback and quoting tools. They will also be responsible for developing relationships with Manufacturers and other third parties to ensure Customers are receiving the best contract pricing available.

Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehouse concepts

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data, detail-oriented, and possess excellent business acumen

  • Strong business acumen / understands complex markets and situations

  • Experience with leveraging technology to automate business processes

  • Highly-driven, customer-focused B2B marketing professional

  • Ability to negotiate contract pricing deals with manufacturers in support of key accounts

  • Ability to solve business problems creatively

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Strong analytical skills that drive improvements in the customer experience

    Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field of study or equivalent experience

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field of study preferred

    Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Leads the Strategic Markets RFP Team to deliver winning bids and execute contract pricing

  • Analyzes pricing data, including competitor pricing strategies, price points and market trends to support policy/price change recommendations

  • Monitors compliance with pricing strategy to ensure consistency and ongoing governance

  • Collaborates with other departments to align on and implement effective pricing strategies

  • Leads efforts to implement, communicate and document price changes in Strategic Market

  • Negotiate s Manufacturer deals on behalf of Benco-s Strategic Markets accounts

  • Implements strategies to extend and expand chargeback opportunities with Manufacturers

  • Gathers input to support financial evaluations to assess profitability of Customer offers

  • Collaborates with Sales, Finance and Marketing Leadership to produce effective pricing proposals

  • Serves as administrator for systems and tools used to respond to RFPs and RFQs

  • Documents processes and trains staff on quoting guidelines and procedures

  • Sets direction, goals and expectations about performance, holds associates accountable for development, and provides appropriate feedback

  • Develops reports and implements controls to effectively manage contract pricing
