UPMC Pathways to Work Recruitment Specialist (Hybrid Contractor) (Spanish Speaking- Bilingual) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

UPMC Health Plan is looking to hire a Contract Recruitment Specialist to join our Pathways to Work team!

Are you interested in helping jobseekers in the greater Pittsburgh area? The UPMC Health Plan is seeking a specialist to support the Pathways to Work team. The Pathways to Work Specialist is responsible for performing all outreach, follow up and support activities to the Pathways to Work team. This includes frequent phone call and email communication, as well as attending events and meetings related to the community outreach mission of UPMC Pathways to Work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct employment screening interviews for Pathways to Work candidates and provide feedback to candidates regarding resources to assist in overcoming barriers to work.

  • Participate in meetings with UPMC Staff, Community Partners and other stakeholders.

  • Attend events and visit community organizations to build relationships with our community partners.

  • Advise and instruct all stakeholders on progress with Pathways initiatives.

  • Facilitate referral system and work within UPMC Systems to gain information about Pathways to Work candidates and referrals.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all information received within the guidelines of professional recruitment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC HS sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities.

  • Formulate testimonial stories and other marketing materials to promote the program.

  • Review and evaluate candidate applications and/or resume in terms of related experience, education and skill rejecting those not meeting the minimum qualifications on the approved job description.

  • Willingness and ability to work in the field in a regional capacity at least 25% of the time. Ability to work independently in a virtual setting.

  • High School Diploma Required

  • Two years of work experience preferred (one year of recruitment and/or community outreach or nonprofit experience preferred).

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.

  • Driving of your personal vehicle is required for this position. (This position is contingent upon successful completion of the driving protocol and policies including, but not limited to, review of MVR report to requirements, ownership of the vehicle and all associated insurance, registration, etc.)

  • Spanish Speaking preferred
