Job Title: Machine Operator

Have you worked in the manufacturing industry before? Do you have machine operator experience and mechanical "know how"?

Randstad is hiring for Machine Operators in the Fox Chapel Blawnox area for a leading food manufacturer of nutritional bars and other various snack products. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for the right candidate.

salary: $18.37 - $19.37 per hour

shift: Third

work hours: 11 PM - 7 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in accordance to product specifications

• Maximize machine up-time with minimal levels of scrap

• Maintain established standards for food and people safety

• Accurately complete quality checks

• Complete food safety related checks and associated paperwork.

• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the general food safety standards

• Responsible for routine cleaning and general maintenance of the workspace as assigned

• Troubleshoot equipment as necessary

• Mechanical aptitude and previous manufacturing/production experience

• Ability to read and write in English

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
