Description:

• Perform service work on key accounts documenting project status with notes in job forms

• Troubleshoot security alarm devices and cameras

• Abide by building code standards and company safety standards

• Identify and prepare pathways and supports for cabling system installations/service

• Exhibit professional appearance and conduct

• Provide training and support for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians

• Communicate with the Service Manager and Service Coordinators regarding projects and customers.

• Troubleshoot systems working with technical staff, vendors, and other techs. Demonstrate a high-level of expertise and problem-solving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience troubleshooting complex technical challenges in a variety of low-voltage environments (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, A/V, nurse call)

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

• Strong computer skills and software aptitude, ability to document

• Technical degree in electronics or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience performing installation duties in commercial security

• Must be highly organized -demonstrated success managing multiple tasks
