Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an industrial/commercial journeyman level electrician for immediate hire. As a journeyman electrician, you will handle all phases of industrial and commercial electrical installations for various manufacturing clients throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. This includes performing EMT conduit installations regularly, bending rigid and flex conduit, installing cable trays and raceways, and more.

Hard Skills

• Ability to perform commercial and industrial electrical work with or without blueprints

• Experience bending rigid and flex conduit

• Mandatory experience with EMT Conduit installations

• Experience dealing with Rigid Conduit, PVC Coated Conduit, all phases of control wiring, conduit and wiring layout for machinery, blue print readings

• Installation and start up of A/C drives

• Experience with cable trays and raceways

• Experience with low and high voltages (120, 240, 480)

• Experience with electrical service installations

• Experience installing and repairing electrical systems in industrial spaces, especially manufacturing facilities

• Proficiency with both hand and power tools

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in with job sites in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on, indoors and outdoors, construction/service work environment. Much work will be done inside active manufacturing facilities and proper safety protocols must be followed at all times. You will work either solo or in pairs depending on the nature of the work. You will also interact with other subcontractors and clients on site.
