The Bradley Center High School Math Teacher in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Bradley School is a licensed private academy educating students who present with special education needs. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. The Bradley School offers each student a different kind of academic experience and a renewed chance at success.

We are looking for a High School Math Teacher who is motivated, compassionate and has a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for someone with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide a structured learning experiences for children with behavioral, emotional and mental health disabilities

  • Lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation

Requirements

  • Current PA Department of Education Certification in Mathematics (7-12 preferred)

  • Candidate must be highly organized with strong interpersonal skills

  • Some teaching experience in a special education setting preferred
