Xylem Financial Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Role: The Financial Analyst, MCS Customer Success will play a key role in providing financial analysis and business partnering throughout the business, with a focus on supporting the MCS segment Customer Success team. This role will be responsible in forecasting and reviewing actuals for the Smart Metering Services P&L, support the annual budgeting process, and conducting ad hoc analysis. The Financial Analyst will also provide financial support to the MCS Segment FP&A team and collaborate with various stakeholders across the business. This role reports to the Director of Finance, Customer Success & Transformation.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forecast and review actuals for revenue and costs, ensuring accuracy and providing insights to drive business decisions.

  • Support the annual budgeting process by preparing detailed financial models and analysis.

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business needs.

  • Provide financial support to the MCS Segment FP&A team, including variance analysis and transformation projects.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years related financial work experience

  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and planning required

  • Experience and financial understanding of SaaS and service-based business models

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities simultaneously

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate to non-finance team members

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, Oracle, and OneStream is preferred.

Salary range:

$63,600.00 - $101,800.00
