POSITION SUMMARY: The E-Books Shipping Clerk will be responsible for the fulfillment of orders by properly assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material. The shipping clerk is expected to maintain an excellent customer service rating to ensure approval and continued relationships with all seller sites. Daily tasks may change, so flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of the department is key. 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to: * Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy * Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes * Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepared materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter * Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials * Confer or correspond with other team members or customers to rectify problems, such as damages or nonconformance to specifications

QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Experience with data entry or computerized shipping software preferred.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS: * Candidates are expected to provide current, valid Child Abuse clearance.
