Expedient Billing and Collections Coordinator in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Expedient is hiring a Billing & Collections Coordinator to join our team in our Pittsburgh, PA corporate headquarters. Candidates should understand and be able to manage the billing and collection processes from start to finish. Responsibilities will include processing billings, managing collections, resolving billing discrepancies, and providing support to internal and external contacts.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in billing/accounts receivables or someone with 1-2 years of experience looking to grow professionally. This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule after an initial training period. This will include 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote. Expedient provides fully paid parking leases for all employees. The estimated range of pay for this position is $40,000 to $48,000 annually ($19 to $23/hour). This is an estimate. Salary will be set based upon your skill level and prior work experience.

Requirements
Previous experience in billing, collections, or a related field or academic experience in billing and accounting discipline
Experience with both proprietary and third party database administration and billing software
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Ability to take direction, work independently and share workload and knowledge with a team
Attention to detail and high work standards are a must
Superior verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on accuracy
Ability to work general daylight business hours with occasional overtime hours due to business needs
Consumption/usage based billing experience is a plus
Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred but not required
Job Responsibilities
Execute customer billing using internal and third party software applications
Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
Provide billing support for clients, sales, and other internal teams
Create and maintain documented billing procedures
Perform data entry and analysis
Track and report on billing metrics
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement
Perform miscellaneous administrative functions as assigned
