Assistant Director of Financial Aid
Job Summary
Directs, coordinates, and oversees the Universitys financial aid program. Ensures that financial aid contributes toward enrollment goals.
Essential Functions Oversee all aspects of federal, private, and institutional loan programs i.e., awarding and reconciliationReview daily reports that include, but are not limited to, loan error reports, over-award reports, grade level changes, bankruptcy status, and loan aggregate limit review. Provide cross-training on all loan program processes. Serve on financial aid specific committees i.e., SAP Committee as needed. Physical Effort
Most work is sedentary, completed within an office setting. Some counseling/presenting is performed at other campuses and off-campus sites. Employee must be able to move about the campus to meetings and travel to locations outside of the University of Pittsburgh.
